Welcome to Keswick High School!
At KHS, we are exceptionally proud of our vibrant, caring, and connected school community. Every day, our students, staff, and families collaborate to ensure our school remains a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Our guiding theme, “Community as Curriculum: Cultivating Connection, Well-Being, and Success,” continues to anchor our work. This year, alongside our ongoing commitment to well-being and equity, we are placing a renewed, intentional focus on student attendance and active engagement. Being present—both physically and mentally—is the foundation of academic growth, strong relationships, and a true sense of belonging.
Our School Improvement Plan drives our collective focus through three key goals:
- Goal 1: Elevate Achievement, Engagement, and Attendance: We are strengthening culturally responsive classroom practices, expanding targeted academic supports, and forging stronger communication between home and school. By prioritizing regular attendance and active participation, we ensure every student gains full access to meaningful, transformative learning experiences.
- Goal 2: Foster Student Well-Being, Mental Health, and Belonging: Student well-being remains at the heart of our community. We continue to broaden access to mental health resources, create balanced environments that reduce stress, and cultivate opportunities for students to build lasting, supportive connections.
- Goal 3: Advance Equity, Inclusivity, and Culturally Responsive Practice: We remain dedicated to building a culture that honours diversity and ensures every student sees themselves reflected in their learning environment. Through focused professional learning and inclusive school initiatives, we deepen our capacity to serve every learner equitably.
At Keswick High School, our community truly is our curriculum. When our students show up, engage deeply, and connect with one another, there is no limit to what they can achieve. We look forward to an incredible school year together.
