Important Dates for Graduating Grade 12 Students

| October | OCAS (Ontario College Application Center) receives demographic info and marks from grades 9-11 & semester one mid-term marks for eligible grade 12 students. | |
| October | Ontario Universities’ Fair – Metro Toronto Convention Centre | |
| October-December | Guidance holds Post Secondary Pathway meetings with individual students | |
| October | Potential graduates who are not planning to apply to an Ontario college or university this school year, and who do not wish to have their data shared must notify their guidance counsellor by this date. | |
| October | Students will receive a secure communication in their GAPPS email which provides their OEN, and school MIDENT# (BSID). This information is needed to apply to college and university through OCAS and OUAC. | |
| October | Ontario College Fair – Enercare Centre | |
| October-November | Fall Break - Visit the Colleges and/or Universities that are of interest to you! Sign up for a Virtual or in person tour depending on the institution | |
| November | Earliest date that Colleges may release offers to applicants. | |
| November | The latest that OUAC (Ontario University Application Center) can receive demographic info and final marks for all completed grade 11 and 12 courses for eligible grade 12 students. | |
| November | Georgina Post-Secondary Fair – Keswick High School – 6pm-8pm | |
| November | Semester 1 midterm marks will be shared with OCAS. | |
| November | Mid-semester report cards issued | |
| November | Semester 1 midterm marks will be shared with OUAC. | |
| November | This is the full disclosure date which is the final day that a student, in a grade 11 or 12 course, may drop a course in order that it not be recorded on the Ontario Student Transcript. | |
| December-January | Winter Break | |
| January | Deadline to submit your completed University application to OUAC. Note: The OUAC still processes applications received after this date and distributes them to the universities. However, specific university deadlines will apply. | |
| January | Semester 1 Exams/Culminating Activities | |
| February | Last date to apply to College for “equal consideration” through OCAS. Earliest offer date. Note: Applications to Highly Competitive Programs must be received by this date in order to be considered. | |
| February | Students may receive early offers of admission. Supplemental Applications may be due. (portfolios, auditions, interviews and testing may occur) | |
| February | OCAS & OUAC receives students’ first semester final grades and a list of current courses | |
| Late February | Be sure to go online and check your marks and application status | |
| March | March Break – Sign up for virtual tours or visit College and University campuses | |
| April | OCAS receive second semester mid-term marks and will send out remaining offers. OUAC receive second semester mid-term marks and begin to send out all remaining offers | |

| May | Deadline to confirm offers of admission made by a College before May 1- accept online. Deadlines for subsequent offers will have separate due dates | |
